Approach

A disciplined path to realisation.

No single solution is assumed in advance. The appropriate route depends on the position, stakeholder priorities, available control and the most credible path to liquidity or recovery.

How the Partnership Works

From a stranded position to a structured route forward.

The original Evenflow process is built around five stages. The precise route depends on the position, stakeholder priorities, regulatory requirements and the available control levers.

01

Target the Situation

Identify stranded LP / GP positions across APAC private credit and private equity where specialist support may be required.

02

Diligence & Risk Assessment

Jointly scope value, key risks, control levers and the primary and secondary routes to exit or recovery.

03

Appropriate Regulated Structure

Where relevant and permitted, positions may be held or managed within ADM Capital’s regulated, reporting-ready platform.

04

Active Execution

Implement the agreed route through management intervention, business-plan supervision, restructuring, enforcement or other appropriate actions.

05

Recovery / Realisation

Work toward the most credible achievable outcome for the position, subject to the mandate and circumstances.

Possible Engagement Routes

The mandate follows the situation.

01

Financial Advisory

Review, diligence, valuation and execution support on existing investments where the objective is liquidity, restructuring or another defined outcome.

02

Manager Supervision or Replacement

Independent oversight, or where appropriate and permitted, a change in management arrangements to improve control, reporting and execution.

03

CRO, Restructuring & Recovery

Hands-on operational, financial or recovery support where the underlying company or asset requires specialist intervention.

The availability and form of any service is subject to the parties’ applicable regulatory status, mandate terms and the circumstances of each engagement.

Beyond Passive Wind-down

Preserve optionality where value still remains.

A conventional wind-down may prioritise closure. In situations where meaningful value remains, the better route may require active management, restructuring or a tailored realisation strategy.

Conventional route

  • Passive custodianship
  • Wind-down focus
  • Limited operational intervention
  • Restricted strategic options

Evenflow approach

  • Assess the position independently
  • Determine viable control and recovery levers
  • Consider restructuring, sale, hold or other routes
  • Execute against the selected path

Active Management Options

Restructure the Portfolio Company

Initiate and control a business turnaround where operational or financial intervention is required.

Sell the Position

Use an institutional sale process to identify an appropriate buyer and pursue a timely exit.

Break Up & Sell

Carve out and divest parts of a portfolio company where this may preserve or enhance value.

Acquire & Build

Consider complementary acquisitions where a build strategy may improve the position’s value or exitability.

Hold & Wait

Monitor, manage and prepare the business for a later sale, refinancing or other exit when immediate realisation is unattractive.

The first step is to understand the position.

A discussion can begin with the asset, the constraints and the outcome you are trying to achieve.
